Roger Heller obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree (majoring in finance) from Syracuse University College of Business Administration in 1972 and his law degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1975.

Mr. Heller is a member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Ohio State Bar Association, and a Trustee/Member of the Center for Principled Family Advocacy, a group of family law attorneys that advocates and trains attorneys in alternative resolution of family and marital disputes. Mr. Heller has been rated by his peers as AV (defined as the "highest professional excellence with the highest level of skill and integrity"), the highest rating awarded to only 5% of the attorneys in the country in the Martindale-Hubble Legal Directory publication, the most widely recognized national attorney rating system.

Mr. Heller grew up in the Cleveland area and currently lives in Shaker Heights where he and his wife of twenty-five years, Caroline Heller, a professional photographer, raised their four children. Mr. Heller also has experience as a founding board member and legal counsel of the Cuyahoga County Drug Abuse Services Board, and a founding member of the volunteer attorney project at the Free Medical Clinic of Cleveland.
